At renewal the DET Payment Voucher already covers what used to be separate Knowledge Dirham, Innovation Dirham, portal, Chamber, Ejari certificate and card lines — they are not added again.

The licence fee sits on top by category — professional from AED 8,250, commercial from AED 10,000, industrial from AED 12,000. We quote the lowest band for your category and confirm the DET figure before anything is paid.

Office lease renewal
Virtual or physical Ejari renewal runs AED 2,500–3,500 a year and is mandatory for every Dubai mainland company. You renew the tenancy yourself, so it sits outside our quote.
The late fine
DET charges a monthly penalty once a licence expires, and an expired licence blocks visa and bank actions. Renewing in the window avoids it entirely.
Activity approvals
Some regulated activities need an annual sign-off from the relevant authority at renewal. We tell you before you pay whether yours does.
Questions we get asked
Why is the renewal cheaper than first-year setup?
Setup carries one-off lines — trade name reservation, initial approval, MOA notarisation — that do not recur. Renewal is the payment voucher, the two card updates, the licence fee and our fee.
What happens if I renew late?
DET applies a monthly fine from the expiry date, and the company cannot process visas or some bank actions until the licence is current. We flag the window ahead of time so it does not happen.
Is the office lease really excluded?
Yes. Ejari renewal is mandatory but you arrange it, and the figure depends on your unit. Quoting a number we do not control would make the total wrong for most clients.
