The licence fee sits on top: Category 2 — professional and services — from AED 4,000, Category 1 — commercial and general trading — from AED 7,000. We quote the lowest band for your category and confirm the authority's figure before anything is paid.

Questions we get asked
Is the office lease really not included?
No, and we would rather say so. Ejari is mandatory and the lease runs AED 15,000 to 35,000 a year depending on the unit. Quoting a figure we cannot control would make the total wrong for most clients.
What is the difference between Category 1 and Category 2?
Category 2 covers professional and service activities and starts at AED 4,000. Category 1 covers commercial and general trading and starts at AED 7,000. The activity you select decides which applies.
Can I trade outside RAK?
Yes. A RAK mainland licence can invoice customers anywhere in the UAE. A physical presence in another emirate needs a branch registered there.
